Taurus Technologies is building a next-generation SaaS Insurance Platform to support insurances carriers in the Property & Casualty insurance space. Our industry-leading platform supports over 20 carriers today.

  • Work closely with other developers and product managers to build robust, scalable, low-latency software solutions for the insurance industry
  • Design client-side and server-side architecture
  • Work across Frontend, Backend, and Database systems in this Full-Stack position
  • Test software to ensure accuracy, performance, and usability
  • Work with CI/CD tooling to improve and automate deployments
  • Work with Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure to deploy and scale our applications

Summary: As an AWS Security Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the security of our AWS infrastructure across multiple accounts. You will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining security best practices, managing access controls, monitoring threats, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

  • Job Responsibilities/Essential Duties:
  • Security Strategy and Planning:
      Develop and implement security strategies and policies for AWS environments.
      Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate security risks.
      Create and maintain security documentation, including incident response plans and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Access Management:
      Manage IAM (Identity and Access Management) policies, roles, and permissions across multiple AWS accounts.
      Ensure appropriate access controls are in place and regularly reviewed.
      Implement and enforce least privilege principles.
  • Monitoring and Incident Response:
      Monitor AWS environments for security threats, anomalies, and compliance violations using tools like AWS CloudTrail, AWS GuardDuty, and AWS Security Hub.
      Lead incident response activities, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery.
      Coordinate with internal teams and external partners during security incidents.
  • Compliance and Auditing:

Summary:
The Flood Insurance Agent assists clients in selecting flood insurance policies that best meet their needs, preferences, and budgets. Insurance agents are tasked with executing our account-level sales engagement model to expand, retain, and acquire new business for TAURUS, LLC.

Job Responsibilities/Essential Duties:
  • Sell policies and grow our book of business through the education of customers on types of flood insurance coverages, assess coverage requirements, and make recommendations based on customer needs.
  • Proactively communicate with clients to identify changing needs in coverage and account information.
  • Ensure clients complete all necessary forms accurately to meet insurance requirements.
  • Stay up to date on property and casualty insurance protocols and coverage requirements.
  • Evaluate current insurance policies and recommend additional coverage if/when needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all client information and insurance documents.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree and at least two years' experience in insurance sales; preferably Flood.
  • P&C license required.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and sell insurance policies over the phone and respond to incoming calls in a timely manner.
  • Ability to gain a sound understanding of flood policies and coverage.
  • Ability to explain flood coverage to customers and determine eligibility for coverage.
  • Ability to persuade and influence others.
  • Strong attention to detail; exceptional communication and customer service skills; Integrity; Interpersonal skills, Learning, Reading comprehension; Stress tolerance; and a strong commitment to teamwork.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple and shifting priorities in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Preferred Skills:
  • ANFI Designation.
  • Knowledge of the National Flood Insurance Program.
